About Us

Natural Exports New Zealand Limited was established by three New Zealanders with extensive local and international business experience.

As passionate consumers and purchasers of New Zealand’s organic and natural product ourselves, we believe consumers living in other countries should also have the opportunity to experience something nutritious, delicious, good for them or produced naturally in a way that is also good for the planet.

We search New Zealand for what we consider to be some of the best products New Zealand has to offer. We then negotiate with the producers to bring these goods to you at the best value possible and manage the whole export process, to ensure that the products arrive on time and in excellent condition.

We export New Zealand products to Australia, China, Singapore, Hong Kong. Malaysia, Philippines & Sri Lanka and are currently in discussions with organisations in a number of other markets around the world.

Grant Stephen

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERAGrant Stephen has spent the last 15 years in the international market place and has a wealth of contacts throughout the world and in particular, Asia.

He has established a long term business presence in China through licensing of his healthcare business – Snorepro. The company is rapidly expanding in China, Hong Kong and Macau with particular focus on Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Tsingtao, Guangdong and Changchun. Additional markets have opened up in Singapore, India, Sri Lanka and Australia.

Grant successfully developed an international foreign exchange network for the Government and private sectors as well as undertaking technical and operational consultancy around the world for a New Zealand Government enterprise.

As well as co-owning a corporate foreign exchange business in New Zealand, Grant also owns a number of property investment companies.

Grant has a Diploma of Business Administration from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand and a Master of Business Degree from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

Paul Alsford

Paul Alsford 1Paul brings a decisive mix of Government and business capability culminating in 21 years’ experience as a manager, consultant and company director with expertise in relationship management, service delivery, facilitation, training and team leadership.

His leadership roles in Government include managing business units and being appointed as private secretary to a cabinet minister. He was also New Zealand’s representative on the joint Australian New Zealand building practitioner licensing authorities from 2004-2007.

Since 2008 Paul has had his own consultancy company in New Zealand with some of the biggest clients in the construction sector including Fletcher Building and a number of building industry organisations where he provides strategic planning advice and facilitates national training programmes.

In addition Paul has a number of property investments and is on the Board of Open Home Foundation International, with a focus on the development of care and protection programmes for vulnerable children in India and Africa.

Paul was a recipient of a Ministry of Economic Development Chief Executive Award in 2004 and attended the Foundations of General Management at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney, Australia

Paul completed a Bachelor of Arts at Victoria University, Wellington.

Grant Brenton

Grant Brenton 2Grant has spent over 10 years owning and operating his own businesses.

These include Whitewater New Zealand Limited which specializes in design, importation, sale and installation of waterslides, signature rides and multi-level interactive aquatic play features for municipal swimming pools. WhiteWater New Zealand acts as New Zealand agent for WhiteWater West Industries Limited of Canada, the largest global designer and supplier of waterparks and waterpark rides having completed over 4,000 projects including 19 of the world’s “Top 20” waterparks. WhiteWater has offices in Canada, USA, France, Germany, Greece, Russia, Korea, Australia, Egypt& UAE.

Grant also owns QEII Hydroslides Limited, which constructed, owned and operated the largest recreational waterslide facility in New Zealand, and a number of property investment companies.

In addition, he has over 20 years of Sales and Marketing General Management and executive leadership experience during his 30 years with 4 financial services organisations. He successfully grew brand awareness, customer satisfaction, sales, revenues and profits in each of these businesses.

Grant has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Canterbury University, Christchurch, New Zealand.

  Harry Zeng

Harry Head & ShouldersHarry Zeng has been helping international companies undertake business in China for the last 5 years and has been retained by a number of foreign enterprises to represent their organisation locally on an on-going basis.

Harry is a gifted translator and business advisor and his services are actively sought by the international business community. Based in Qingdao, Harry travels regularly throughout China to represent off shore client needs, particularly in contract negotiation, quality control and senior relationship management.

Mr Zeng devotes a significant amount of his time to his role as General Manager China for Natural Exports. As well as recruiting and interfacing with Chinese retail and distribution organisations, Harry is responsible for Natural Exports’ E-Commerce, logistics operations and product regulatory compliance in China.

Harry has a degree in English and American Literature from China Petroleum University( Eastern) and is married with two children.

 Joseph Mah

Joseph 2Joseph is an inspiring entrepreneur and already owns a number of successful enterprises in Singapore, China and Brazil within the industrial and healthcare sectors.

Having a wide range of experience in several disciplines both in the Industrial and Consumer market, he is well respected for his appreciation of all aspects that go into making sustainable and mutually beneficial business relationships with his associates and clients. Building up distribution networks, connecting people and companies had always been the role of Joseph and his team in the region.

Based in Singapore, but a frequent traveller throughout Asia and South America, Joseph’s time is in demand as Natural Exports’ Regional Director for Asia. Being in Singapore allows Joseph and the team to service clients locally and regionally in real time. New global opportunities can also be explored with ease from the Singapore hub. Always being on the ground and having deep insights in the global market also gives Natural Exports’ client base considerable confidence through having close proximity representation at hand.

Joseph has a Bachelor in Engineering degree (Mechanical and Production) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
